IKEA Canada Spring Launchbook
 
Project Objective: The primary goal of this project was to design an engaging and visually appealing lookbook for IKEA's spring collection. The lookbook aimed to create awareness among IKEA's customers about the latest product launches, showcasing new furniture and home decor items in a way that captures the essence of spring.
 
01. Scope of the Project:
The project involved conceptualizing the layout and visual theme of the lookbook, ensuring it resonates with the freshness and vibrancy of spring.
Curating high-quality images of the new product line, including furniture, textiles, and home accessories.
Designing page layouts that effectively combine product images with descriptive text, highlighting key features and design elements of the new collection.
Incorporating IKEA's brand identity and design ethos into the lookbook, ensuring a seamless and intuitive browsing experience for customers.
Creating digital and print versions of the lookbook, optimized for both online browsing and in-store distribution.
 
02. Target Audience: 
The lookbook was designed for the diverse clientele of IKEA, ranging from homeowners and apartment dwellers to interior design enthusiasts, all looking to refresh their spaces with the latest trends and products from IKEA.
 
03. Project Implementation:
As part of my role, this project involved extensive research on current design trends and IKEA’s product range.
 
Usability Testing: Conducting initial tests with prototypes of the lookbook internally layout to gather feedback, ensuring the final design is both user-friendly and visually appealing.
Iterative Design Process: Refining design elements based on feedback, with a focus on enhancing the user experience and ensuring the lookbook is intuitive and engaging.
I Collaborated with photographers and copywriters to ensure the lookbook's content was both aesthetically pleasing and informative. Utilized design software such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to create a polished and professional final product.
 
04. Outcome:
The IKEA Spring Lookbook served as an effective marketing tool, increasing awareness of the new spring collection among IKEA’s customer base. It contributed to an enhanced customer experience, providing inspiration and ideas for home decoration and furnishing.
